Veronique Duguay MD
( formerly Dr Enriquez )
Dr. Duguay is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician. She is committed to developing long-term relationships with her patients to know every aspect of their health and life to help them achieve optimal quality of life at every stage. She cares for adults of all ages with a particular interest in geriatrics, cardiovascular health, diabetes and hypertension.
Dr Duguay graduated from Universite de Sherbrooke Medical School in Quebec, Canada, and from Internal Medicine residency at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. She was a hospitalist and Medical Director at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital from 2013 to 2023, caring for acutely ill patients, focusing on great quality care, shorter hospital stays, and appropriate follow-ups to optimize their health on their return home. She prides herself on her ability to care for complex medical problems while knowing when to refer for specialty care. She was recognized as Coastal Virginia Top Doc 2018 to 2022 as awarded by physician peers.
Michael Speckhart MD
Dr. Speckhart is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician from Wake Forest University. He is particularly focused on longevity medicine, lipid management, and longitudinal care of his patients.
After earning his medical degree from Wake Forest University, he continued on with his residency in Winston-Salem. Upon completion he moved back to Virginia Beach in 2007 and worked as a hospitalist for Sentara until 2025. During his tenure at Sentara Leigh Hospital, he was the lead physician for his group for over a decade and was awarded the inaugural Physician of the Year in 2016.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Speckhart has two adult children and one precocious teenage daughter that keep him busy at home, along with their bichon buddy Gus. You can also find him boating, paddleboard, snowboarding or on his peloton, depending on the season.
